Meaning and value are imposed

Upon unsuspecting objects whose existences are ultimately insignificant and otherwise forgettable.

Mere objects move in an incalculably small instant from carrying no burden at all to bearing the brunt of all the emotions that exist within one person and, on occasion, between two or more.

Their fate is altered forever.

Leaving them to be loved unconditionally as the wear and tear of time work their hands on them or to be discarded or set a blaze when the meaning and value once bestowed upon them become a burden to those responsible for the bestowing.
