Romantization of flaws

Both the sketch and poem was inspired by Savannah Brown,a Poet.
She’s taught me that surrendering to the moment is directly proportional to happiness. And that in vulnerability you become your authentic self. Your imperfections are the things that make you, so why not romanticise on them?

Romantization of flaws

I am a mess
I admit that I am chaotic.

An abandoned building that becomes art to some, good for the eye but to others a waste of space.
I am visited often…by curious individuals but I am just a setting to capture chaotic pictures that they title ‘art’

I am a mess
I am chaotic

You can’t run your hands through my hair because it is too thick.
I am that 1000 puzzle piece you gave up on completing as a kid,
at first exciting but with time frustrating.
I am an abounded building, cracks and scars visible.

I am art
This is art

Appealing to those who are homeless
Those that do not know that home lies within their skins
To those that are also trying to escape it.
They belive I am a concept, but I am just chaotic.

I am a mess

I have no covering from what the world has to throw at me.
The scariest part is after all these things, I still stand .
Grounded
Foundation
Abounded building tht stands because it refuses to be eradicated.

I am a mess
I am chaotic
But in the mist of it all I stand firm!
