As I Lay Beside You
Summer’s eve
Our bodiemolten to climate coolness by heat.
My skin,
Bombarded by the collisions of excited particles in adherence to yours.
Overwhelmed by the presence of your erected hair follicles.
Your head fallen, in the crook of my neck
lain on my chest
Close to my heart beat; where you should be.
With your ears eagerly listening for your name in the symphonic echoes of my aortic pump.
your fingers lingering & leaving traces of your intentions around my skin,
your voice dances around the air with my name by this love clung to it.
Your hair
brushing across my face
tossing me about with fresh senses of you.
Inhaling your every wish into my cells.
I sing silent hymns in my lungs
that yell out the breath of your soul
My fingers dance through the webs intertwined in your hair when
Gentle is less revolutionary
I lose my forms for senses in the memory of how you built me from aching like howling wind
With bricks you made from our broken parts
I lay in awe
In the same space that heaven touched by your presence.
Hear me scream, silently
That you’re beautiful! so the air can remind you everyday.
Whispers of silent I love yous scream through the atmosphere,
Grasping on to your body and your heart
I wish I had a third hand to can grab onto your soul.
Your presence Humbles me
As I crave you, while I hold you in my arms, a place I call home.
Whispers of momentous promises bow through the air you exhale into my heart.
I lay beside you, lost
to find myself in you. Blinded by the glare of the reflection that I see in you, my mirror.
I lay by your side, bare to the eye, yet clothed by your words
I lay a mess of softness in the summer
I lay complete
with every vacancy in me filled by your wholeness.
As I lay beside you, I lay in love
