You Are The Words

You Are The Words
You are the Words I utter
It’s you, the one who rolls off my tongue in romantic deceit.
Comely, I extract you from my larynx like a metamorphosised butterfly taking its first flatter
You are the Words I spew, in the lack of verbal deficit
You are the unbridled stutter in my sentences, the trembling in my voice
The melody of lyrics that vacate from my lips,
echoing from the bathroom walls.
The song I repeat during a happy days shower, my encore.
The voice in my head. Guiding into light amidst the dark of days.
You are the venom I spew
When I spit clauses of anger.
You’re the trebles that vibrate in my larynx
When to sweet silence I yell in volumes of black & white gospels, when my neck grows thicker than the panda.
You’re the sweet peace in my frequencies of violence.
You’re the beating waves that crash before my feet in the tempest currents.
You are the mourns of joy
That flow alluvial waves in my cheeks.
The summons of troy, in times of war the whispers of natural mystique.
You’re the filth of sweet seduction that peels open my fantasies, falling from my dirty mouth.
You’re the words of promise
The vow’s I scribble & scratch out before the day we’re promised.
You’re the stutter in my heart, when I skip a beat.
The vowels that escape me, when I can’t speak.
You are the letters being spelt out,
the bitter sweet L O V E in my lexicon
The simple verbs that speak of what I’d do for you
The elusive adjectives that are used to describe the very depth of how I feel about you
You are the words that engender the perpetual twinkle in my eyes and my ineffable smile.
You are the whispers of sweet moments
That last the while.
You are the baffled vowels spelt in monologues of confession.
The premature commas in every fearful “I miss you”.
The bitten screech in my teeth before my nervous smile.
You are my screams of passion, & my flow in the nile.
You are my lif.. my hea.. my sou..
Sigh, you are the words
The words my heart speak.
