Tugging Nature, Touching the World

You belong deeply to yourself
and I touched the earth with you.
Through passage of time some may whither
get lost in the wind as the sickle chips away at the deader self
yet
Every little piece lead to something greater
the deeper into your mind I dug, the more beautiful it all became.
I admire people like you.
Living a life akin to only you
in tune with a rhythm of a heartbeat
unseen to those blinded by facades
I’m more curious about who you are.
Larger than the univers’ expansive galaxies you seem
to attract stars that shine through every facet of you
the essence of you like soil
in humility
in playfulness
in it’s ability to be turned into glass sharp enough to shatter me
clear enough for me to see through the facade.
I believe all of you belongs deeply to yourself
your dreams and aspirations
beliefs and views
your passions and sanity.
As we all strive to be unique in our sameness
you continue on in tugging nature to fall into depths unknown
by either you or I
but you are not afraid
to touch and to feel and to live
by love and creation.
