Because everyone he loved

Watched as people use the word love like they were playing games

People would always make fun of him
For believing in love whole heartedly

Because she was played far too many times
She thought she was the problem
Only to realize that this generation isn’t looking for love
They want to have fun

Instead of settling, you have to find him

She watched as words turned love into hate
Watched as people start to disappear around her
She sacrificed so much for people who did not seem to care
It broke her to a point where love was just a word
Not a feeling that was once associated with happiness and trust

Your heart has been broken so many times
It’s just a matter of time till your wound heals
And the love that you have been looking for
Finally finds you
