The Bag of Seeds

There once existed a bag of seeds. Nicely tucked away and forgotten about by the house owner, the
seeds were full of life and ever ready to express their potential to enrich….fresh crisp fruit. Maybe apples, maybe bananas. Or wheat for the bread the house owner so much hungered for? Well…the seeds spent most of their days with their potential never being brought forth into the world.

Outside the house the open field stretched as far as the eye could see. Every morning the sun brought forth a new day for the house owners to plant some seeds ensurering that they will eat in the days to
come. While some house owners had come to understand the reality that the food they hungered for will be brought forth by the seeds, the soil and themselves, they woke up ekuseni ngovivi(early in the
morning). Seed after seed they planted…and day after day they looked after the crops.

In the land there also lived other house owners who hadn’t yet come to understand this truth. They woke up every morning and went outside into their back yards hoping and wishing there they would find crops ready to harvest, and every day they came back inside their houses with empty sacks and stomachs. Their failure to observe the ways of the world conspired against them…

Have you been eating well lately? I mean I know you feed your body on a daily basis, but is your soul in a nourished and healthy condition? I mean you can’t blame a man for not being able to effectively function when he is hungry, hunger is a shortage of energy and lives demand energy from us in our interaction with them .I have come to learn that joy fills our souls hunger for meaning… No matter who you
are and where you are from, when you’re sincerely smiling everything makes sense. You are clear minded, strong and at ease in that moment. Joy is always at our door step, ever ready to feed us, ready to come forth in our day to day life and blossom as beauty feeding our eyes. Ready to come forth as food for my stomach. You’ll find it safely tucked away as a possibility in our day to day thoughts. A car, a computer, aeroplanes and everything else we use in our daily lives all began as a thought. Seeds that once loved, planted in the world and carefully looked after brought joy much hungered for by the “owner”(the receiver of the thought).

What fruit would you like to enjoy in your life? What beauty would you like to see? Answer the above questions and then recognize and accept the fact that your answers themselves are the seeds for that which you hunger for.

The world is fertile and ever ready for new seeds to be planted so go out there with your vag of seeds and get to work :).

#Thoughts are building blocks for a mental attitude, our mental attitude affects how we interact with life, and how we interact with life affects what we get out of it.
