LOSE OR WIN

I cannot search within, I am afraid of what I might find.
I’d try to fight it, to keep me on the road.
But,
I don’t want to lose sight.
I can’t live my life backwards, I choose to go forward.

The hardness of that road has made me tough and
… I can’t lose my touch now.
I am way too far to fall back, I can’t take you back.
Life has taught me new lessons but I won’t spit it in your face.
I see what you are trying to do, even though a part of me likes it.
It’s too painful and I wouldn’t endure the pain again.
I choose to not follow the trace of my own footsteps,
…that would only lead me to where I escaped.

I was lucky to land safe.
Sometimes it’s unbelievable but most times reality rejuvenates.
I ain’t done exhausting all ways.
I will keep on until I am exhausted.
I am the champion, you cannot win.

I think it’s time I made a deal with my Master,
He will give me the answer.

I can’t take you in, you are ill.
I’m keeping the peace, my heart is at ease.
I have chosen to take a break from this game before I break.
I patched the cracks too many times.
I will let me prosper without you trying to foster.
I would rather lose the match against you than win your game.

I aim to reign.
Win or lose, you lost key.
I still remain the King.
